WOMEN'S NETWORK FORUM HELENE BEDAGUE

“Network.

Learn from the network.

Don’t be shy, don’t be aggressive, but lean in!”

This is the advice given by Helene Bedague, Vice President, Service Delivery Leader, IMS Europe and it applies to all the women in the business environment.

Splitting her life between Paris, Cluj and Bucharest, she talks about work-life balance, saying that the concept has a totally personal definition: “If I want to close my computer at 5 o’clock, I have this luxury, but then I work during week-ends. It’s my choice and I’m comfortable with it.”

Regarding diversity in the workplace, she thinks that it gives people the capability to understand different perspectives: “You’re lucky when you understand that you are different, because you can understand the differences in others.”

Helene also shares her opinion about engaging people and makes a statement about being approachable and asking questions. She thinks that the possibility of growing within an organization is the main factor that keeps people engaged.
