UNITED WAY AWARDED GENPACT THE GOLD PARTNER TROPHY

Genpact was honored to participate at the United Way Gala 2015, on May 13th in Bucharest. During the elegant event, United Way presented and awarded companies and major individual donors, volunteers, NGOs and authorities for their last year community achievements.

United Way rewarded Genpact`s generosity and community involvement by granting the Gold Partner Trophy. “It is a great recognition for our commitment to continuously support environmental initiatives and also help underprivileged people”, stated Calin Avram, Vice President & CFO, Genpact Europe.

In 2014, Genpact & United Way impacted the lives of over 636 individuals:

  •          442 children kept going to school and lived healthier lives
  •          100 youth and adults learnt a trade, became better parents or secured an income for their families
  •          94 elders and people with health problems received the social and medical care they needed for a decent life

During the 8 years partnership, Genpact & United Way impacted the lives of over 3500 individuals:

  •          334.000 Euro donated
  •          2475 beneficiaries (children): Education pillar
  •          560 beneficiaries (young & mothers): Integration Pillar
  •          526 beneficiaries (elderly & disabled): Health Pillar

Change begins with us! We continue the journey in Genpact keeping up the good heart by donating and helping those in need.

sadly it doesn't come with a belt but I bought a few to give sense to my role :) (fyi, Lean Six Sigma is a Japanese methodology taking inspiration from Karate)rnrnanyway, with a bit of dedication, being in the right place & very little luck I'm sure everyone could achieve this! all the best!
